RED TRACTOR Tricks Shoppers into buying Halal Meat!
One expects to find this RED TRACTOR Food Standards Authority (FSA) logo on foods that have been well prepared to a good standard… but sadly it seems that this logo is now the sign of what is probably Halal Ritually Slaughtered meat according to all the largest British supermarket chains.

We often find this on RS Meat – We know it is RS because we have been checking the EEC Meat Codes on Packaged Meat in supermarkets for the past three years and ALWAYS find meat with halal abattoir EEC Meat Codes… So could this RED TRACTOR signify the Halal RS meat that is rejected at the post-slaughter inspection & pronounced HARAM by muslims… then sold off cheap to mainstream suppliers?
This was the disturbing findings of The Asian Tribune headlines on 24th July 2012
You would think looking at the logo that meat sold with this assured food standard is 100% British, but on contacting all major supermarkets, I was shocked to learn that in fact the standard means nothing and we are in fact eating Halal meat blessed with Islamic prayers and the animal having its throat cut until the blood drains out.
In some cases it takes as long as six minutes for the animal to die even when stunned.
Compassion in World Farming (CIWF) blasts Red Tractor on welfare

The Red Tractor symbol was first put on Halal Meat when JANAN MEATS, one of the Leading Suppliers of Halal Meat, was Awarded the Red Tractor.
Janan Meats is part of the Pitstock Group which is controlled by Naved Syed – a very influential muslim in this country who is also on the EBLEX (Eblex – The organisation for the English beef and sheep industry) Halal Steering Committee along with supermarket representatives eg. from ASDA… all hell bent on distributing halal meat mainstream in Britain & Europe & beyond.

Freya, nominated by her mum, Julie, was chosen as the winner because she supports her busy mum and dad in the kitchen and loves to cook Sunday lunch for friends and family.
“Freya loves to shop for her ingredients, and always makes a point of picking products with the Red Tractor logo on it, she knows this means the food has been produced to good standards.”
When walking into any British supermarket they all pride themselves on selling British products where possible , this can be seen in any meat section at Asda,Tesco and Waitrose to name a few.
But do we know what we are eating?
To help us we see logo’s like Red Tractor which guarantees:

This practice of the Red Tractor logo appearing on halal meat is now common place according to Tescos who says…
Tescos quote:
“We sell Halal meat in our stores to meet customer demand and to demonstrate that everyone is welcome at Tesco.”
Better still BOYCOTT TESCO & write to them to let them know why.
